Social mia is mainly about (how could it be otherwise): social things, such as communicating with known friends and family members. In essence, it is often a rather one-sid and lazy form to inform your friends, family and acquaintances about the nice sides of your life.
Social mia is also about famous artists and famous brands. But ask a social mia star like KLM how much turnover they owe to it and your jaw will drop. Apart from establishing a ‘digital footprint’, it doesn’t seem to yield much yet. But you can’t do without it anymore. J

Maintaining your name on social mia

Brands exist partly in a real and partly in a digital world.
